What First Lane does

First Lane is a browser extension that reads publicly visible vehicle listing pages on auction websites (currently IAA and Copart, Canada and USA) that your own browser loads, matches them against watchlists you create, and shows the results to you.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, your dealership name if you enter one, your plan and subscription status, and your billing history. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Your watchlists and favourites, so they can sync between your computers and, on a Team plan, with your colleagues. Favourites include a snapshot of the listing (title, price, photo link, VIN when public) so another device can display it.
• Technical: the extension version, and licence checks (an authenticated request to our server roughly once an hour).

What we do not collect

• Your auction account credentials. First Lane never logs in to an auction site and has no access to your passwords or auction accounts.
• The auction listings you browse. Captured listings, matches, price history and deal scores are stored in your browser only and are not sent to our servers (except the favourites snapshots described above).
• Browsing history on any other website. The extension only runs on the auction sites listed in its permissions and on firstlane.app.

Who we share it with

Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting for accounts and sync data, servers in Canada). Nobody else. We do not sell data.

Your choices

You can sign out and use First Lane without an account in local mode, delete your favourites and watchlists from the extension, and cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Account → Manage billing. To delete your account and all synced data, email hello@firstlane.app.

Photos and trademarks

Vehicle photos are loaded directly from the auction sites' own image servers and are not stored by First Lane. IAA and Copart are trademarks of their owners; First Lane is not affiliated with or endorsed by either.
