Do I need an IAA or Copart account?

No. First Lane reads the public listing pages, which both auctions show to anyone. You only need an account with them when you actually want to bid.

Does First Lane log in to the auctions or store my passwords?

Never. It runs inside your own Chrome and only reads pages your browser loads. It has no way to sign in to an auction on your behalf and never sees an auction password.

How does the trial work?

Create an account with your email and a password, add a card, and you get 7 days free. Nothing is charged until day 8. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. Your watchlists are kept either way.

What happens if I cancel?

The patrol pauses and new alerts stop at the end of your paid period. Everything you've captured stays viewable, and your watchlists are saved to your account, so resubscribing picks up where you left off.

What does a Team seat get me?

Each buyer signs in with their own email and sees the dealership's shared watchlists plus their own. The owner gets one bill and can add or remove seats from the billing page.

Can I use one account on two computers?

One computer signed in per seat. Signing in on a second computer signs the first one out — fine for moving between the shop and home, but two buyers working at once need two seats. That's what Team is for.

Which browsers?

Chrome, Edge and Brave on Mac or Windows. First Lane is a browser extension, so it needs a desktop browser running while it patrols.
